  I've been coming here for years. Rupert and the guys are awesome. A hub for every local musician. They have a huge selection of guitars and plenty of space to try them out, which they always make you feel welcome to do. They also have lessons there for various instrument. These guys will never let you down :)

  I rang ahead to the shop today with regards to a guitar repair. The person on the phone was friendly and told me they'd be able to repair it for me. So I made the trip up to the shop which is over an hour each way for me. Upon arrival I was informed that the luthier was away for the next 2 weeks. Even then they weren't even sure if he could fix it! (It's only replacing the nut on the neck). After barely an apology I was sent on my way again with 2 hours of my time and travel money wasted. All of this could've been avoided if I had just been told this information over the phone before leaving!! Very disappointed.
